Why I love All-Inclusive Resorts

After visiting many islands in the Caribbean and destinations in Mexico while cruising, I found that I wanted to explore these areas for longer stays.  My very first resort I visited was the Iberostar Paraiso Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico.  It’s a “Caribbean-style” resort, meaning that it has less than 3 floors per building – and it set my love for these types of resorts.  Sitting on one of the finest beaches in Mexico and hosting exciting amenities, this resort offers the best choice to have fun. This Riviera Maya All-Inclusive resort has been thoughtfully designed to not only be beautiful but to also contain locally inspired accents that highlight the culture of the surrounding area.

There is a water park (that the kids will never want to leave), a wave pool, a lazy river, and a swimming pool that features a pyramid-inspired design.  It not only boasts 8 on-site restaurants, but the Iberostar has 5 connecting hotels, all sharing restaurants and bars – so the options were endless….and delicious!!

With my 50th birthday fast approaching, I am already making plans to return to this amazing resort!
